Looking to Join the SVA?

In order to become a member of SVA, we ask that you submit the following information to be reviewed by our Membership Committee. Once approved for membership, you will be instructed on how to submit your annual dues of $40. Allow four-six weeks for SVA to process your application.

Student Artists: In addition to filling out the form below, please also submit the following to Leslie Paulus ().

  • A letter of recommendation from a teacher or other school official
  • A letter of permission from a parent or guardian (if under the age of 18
  • Student artists will be expected to work for 2 hours at an SVA event
  • Annual dues for student artists are $20

    We showcase our events and promotional material but will be expanding it to include member's artwork as well.

    Members to our Facebook page can create and view art related posts of interest to our members.

  • Professional development
    Attend or conduct a workshop.

  • Show and sell your artwork
    SVA has events nearly every month (Final Fridays throughout the year, Annual Membership Show, Holiday Art Auction and Sale, Artwalk) where your work can be available to the public.

  • Share with the community
    In addition to our regular events which are open to the public, we offer free art workshops through our Art In The Gardens program.

  • Network with artists
    Perhaps the most rewarding aspect of joining SVA is the friendships and opportunity to grow as an artist that flow from becoming involved in our activities.
